Poetry
The WCCW Writers'' 2014 Conference at Harding University in Searcy, AR was a great success.
Linda Apple and Laura Castoro spoke on writing personal experience stories and mainstream women's fiction.
It was a delight to be awarded a 1st Honorable Mention for my poem "Independence Day", a poem written to honor military veterans.
Several fellow writers also received awards. Our comraderie and encouragement keeps us writing and growing in skills.
