Poetry recited at Community Chorus Concert

My Nativity poem, "Home", recited as part of the sacred section of the Cherokee Village Annual Christmas Concert Dec. 2-3, 2016.

The Cherokee Village Annual Community Chorus Christmas Concert featured a reading of "Home", a Nativity poem by Patricia A. Oplinger. The concert's theme was JOY!

"Home" was preceeded by "Winter Carol" and followed by "Advent Gift" and "Winter Wind" in the sacred portion of the concert under the dirrection of Ms Rebecca Thurmon.

The chorus numbered 50 voices accompanied by Marion Henderson on Friday December 2, 2016 . 6:30 p.m. and Saturday December 3, 2016 . 2 p.m.

A large enthusiastic audience both nights received the hour long concert with JOY! The same JOY that the singers performed with.

"Home" is published in Poems of the Super Moon; Pen Women Press (2015). It appears on Ms Oplinger's poetry page for your reading enjoyment.
