This book was a long time in coming to market.  I am hopeful that it will offer a multi-leveled perspective on the possibilites of fatherhood, for those who are now fathers, or who will be in the future.  There are so many variations on the theme of Fatherhood but I was only qualified to convey my own experience which was idyllic, although far too brief.  If my writing exposes a positive approach to someone who never had one, or at least plants the seed for a more loving, giving approach as a new possibility, then I will have succeeded in one of my quests.

If, even more powerfully, my dreaded experience in losing a brother to suicide, makes someone who is contemplating such a permanently destructive act, think twice and hopefully change their mind, then an even greater result will have been achieved.

If people had an inkling of the path of destruction they leave behind in the wake of such a horrific act, then perhaps, hopefully, they would not do it.  They don't just take their own life, but in large measure, those of all of their loved ones, friends and acquaintances.  There is always another answer, another way.
