Christmas is a very special time in my household.

My own children and all my grandchildren (six of them!) all arrive at my place for the Christmas break.

I will have twelve here for at least three days over Christmas. And although it will be noisy, it will also be bliss.

A few years ago I asked my family not to buy gifts, but to just spend time with hubby and me. It's worked out beautifully. I like nothing better than being surrounded by family.
