Last Snapshot of the Elections: Money, FBI and KGB Win; Humanity Loses 

According to the Princeton Consortium, tomorrow Hillary Clinton will win the Presidency.  Even the recent slippage in the polls brought on by the FBI’s meddling could not stop her.  Donald Trump may have other plans, but the U.S. Presidency will not be among them. He is destined to become a footprint in the pages of political history.  Clinton is projected to win 313 electoral votes to Trump’s 225.  Her popular vote will best Trump by 2.7 percent.   

Congress is a different matter.  The House is projected to remain safely under Republican control.  The Senate is up for grabs with 50 Democrats and 50 Republicans.  The outcomes of four seats are so razor thin they could go either way.  If gridlock is what the FBI and the KGB want, then it is fair to say “mission accomplished.”  Divided government will mean more gridlock by a “do nothing” Congress.  And that will mean the status quo is the winner.  And the status quo means very little change.  That makes planning predictable both domestically and on the international scene.  Gridlock is a win for the FBI, a win for the KGB, and a win for the ultra wealthy.  No change makes life predictable for them,  And that means the rest of humanity is the big loser—as usual. 

And so…If you thought your vote counted in the grand scheme of things, there is bridge for sale between New Jersey and New York.  If not the bridge then at least those who control it.  But if you have to ask the price, forgetaboutit!  Politics is still a game where money talks, and BS walks.
