Kudlow and Navarro: Two Dipsticks in
Search of a Place to Put Them

Apparently, there are no lengths to which imposters to coherency of thought will go in order to please their master. Such is the case with economic advisor Larry Kudlow and trade negotiator Peter Navarro. After bending and kissing the Donald’s body parts while on his way to Singapore, these two misfits took to the airwaves to bash Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau following the G7 summit in Canada. Kudlow sounded off by calling Trudeau a “back stabber,” and Navarro weighed in with this lovely comment: “There is a special place in hell for Justin Trudeau.”

Why would any rational human being want to make such blatantly stupid comments against one of the most articulate and decent prime ministers to be found anywhere? He is nearly everything that Trump, Kudlow, and Navarro are not. He is youthful, good looking, very intelligent, polite, and well-spoken, who represents Canadians well, and who genuinely likes the United States. So, what are their crappy comments all about?

Donald is angry because Trudeau is standing his ground about Trump’s threat to raise tariffs on Canadian imports. Trudeau says he will reciprocate (a new word for the Donald that he is repeating so often that it is beginning to make the world sick). As usual, Donald doesn’t know what the hell he is talking about. Neither do Kudlow or Navarro.

Donald is angry because the US is running a trade deficit with the world. He believes he can change that by raising tariffs on the goods and services that other countries are sending us. But nobody bothered to tell him first that we have been running trade deficits for the past 48 years. And so far, we have not had to hold a “going out of business” sale. Moreover, we are running a trade surplus with Canada. Donald is so dumb he apparently does not understand that if you want to fix a trade deficit you need to concentrate on trade with those countries with which we have a trade deficit. And that goes double for Navarro who is our chief trade negotiator. Never mind how Trump's tariff threats have caused the dollar to fall against our trading nations’ currencies.

When Kudlow was pressed to explain how Trudeau was “back stabbing” the US, he replied that he was trying to kill Trump’s chances for a success with Kim Jong Un. When asked further to show how North Korea nuclear negotiations and our trade relations with Canada were related, Kudlow replied: “Everything is related; it’s all related.” What an analytical mind!

And now you know why Kudlow with a bachelor’s degree in history became Trump’s choice as his chief economic advisor; and why Navarro is probably John Bolton’s twin, sans the moustache. It’s that wandering dipstick syndrome all over again.
