Last Friday, a new novel, my “child” came into the world. His name is “Heckel Casey.” I am proud of Heckel. I hope that he prosperous, enjoyed by everyone, and lives a long life. I didn’t pass out cigars, but we did celebrate with some champagne!

         Civilization has collapsed in this post-apocalyptic scenario.  Heckel Casey, a late twenties former high school teacher, knows how it happened and          who is responsible for the evil that has nearly decimated humanity.  His journey across the country slowly reveals that there is a power growing      inside of him that is strong enough to confront the evil and eliminate it.   Encountering attacks from hellish snakes, demonic bikers, violent tempests, not to mention self-doubts, deception, and betrayal, Heckel must overcome these ‘bumps’ in the road to lead his companions to the ultimate battle to save humanity.
