In a reprint of an article that ran in the Muskegon Chronicle, Bob Kingsley says, "To learn more of the history of the Great Lakes which also includes the successful battle against the alewife invasion, Barbara Spring's book, The Dynamic Great Lakes, is excellent reading. It would be an appropriate addition to any school library and the teachers of natural science would find it valuable."
