Folklorist to Appear on the History Channel

Gary R. Varner, author of Menhirs, Dolmen and Circles of Stone and many other books on folklore and cultures will appear in a History Channel episode on ancient dolmen.

Folklorist Gary R. Varner was recently contacted by producers from the History Channel (H2)requesting his appearance on an upcoming "Ancient Aliens" episode on Korea's ancient dolmen and megalthic sites. The show, which was taped a few days ago, has been pushed back until September. Varner will discuss the history of these sites, their cultural significance and folklore and modern man's relationship with sacred sites--giving a more balanced view to this fascinating topic.
