Starting in the gutter with the Brazilian rock band GLITTER MAGIC whom have released their first ever music video, for the title track from their new album 'Bad For Health.’  Always a good idea to drink pints by yourself in a bar; however, drinking pints by yourself in a bar where women draped in black leather hang out…bad idea.  Add in gambling…another bad idea, coupled with pints and leather and this is not going to end well. BONUS PROMOTION CLIP: The use of Glitter Magic deck of cards. Uh, oh, walking alone drunk after winning big? Always end up getting jacked. Always. Let’s recap: Never drink pints and gamble around women in tight leather and definitely don’t get drunk and think you are getting out alive, or you will end up in a body bag. Always. Canadian sleaze rockers LUST BOYS have released a music video for their new single "Hard On Love.” The start of the video looks like it is sponsored by Jack Daniels. Good tune if you don’t follow along with the vocalist – either this video is very out of sync or it’s time for a new computer. Burning question: what’s the deal with Canadian bands and their use of the cow bell?..

Chicago heavy metal band HESSLER has released their new single and music video for "Last Alive.”  We start with a crazy host pitching a pay-per-view execution for only 19.95. Is it just me or does that sound WAY too cheap for an execution? Also, the host is WAY too confident and should not be wearing the Hawaiian shirt with Zubaz pant combination. No one since John Belushi (granted it was sweatpants back then) and John Candy has been able to pull off the Hawaiian shirt and Zubaz look. It’s important to note that the host shoulder spinning the leathered up girls is preposterous. Have I mentioned what he is wearing?   Anyway, we have intertwining scenes, the first is a person being led though a jail of sorts; he is the next in line to be executed. A nun, played by Daniels is seducing a priest and our host is on stage taking calls from the audience (the callers will decide how to execute their contestant of the evening). So the nun air fucks (not close enough for a dry humping) the priest in order to get access to the guards (where she meets up with the rest of the band) and release the person to be executed. In other words, HESSLER SAVES THE DAY! To celebrate, the band takes over the stage and performs.  The programming change agrees with the viewers, just check out the phenomenal couch air guitar at 3:05. As for the fate of our mismatched host? Not good, at the end of the video he is still wearing Zubaz…

The Detroit power metal band REVERENCE has released a second official music video for their song "Bleed For Me." The first verse uses “master” and “slave” so, you know, I’m hooked. It’s nice to see the “guitar players lean in to sing along with the chorus” move is alive and doing well. Also, at 2:05 the “gimme more” hand movement is pure old-school. Favorite part of this video is the drummer’s shirt that reads: I WELD. I spent a lot of time looking for this T-shirt. It appears there is a place called Harris Welding Supplies that sells this patch. In 1-2 weeks you too can look like a bad ass...

Hot on the heels of their self-titled debut, New York's band, NASTY HABIT, have unveiled the music video for the single "Hip Shakin' Fox.”  Hold on…the video starts with fast cars and a drummer who refuses to sit. The lead singer reminds me of Stephen Pearcy (in a good way) and the video reminds me of a porno that doesn’t deliver (not in a good way). Check out the guy at 1:19, isn’t that the same hat worn by Dwayne Wayne in ‘A Different World?’ (Too obscure? How about Wesley Snipes character in ‘White Men Can’t Jump?’) BTW, how blessed are we that we were given a Dwayne Wayne AND a Dwayne Wade during our lives? The pop culture Gods really are looking over us…

Based in Australia, JOHNNY ROADKILL has given us a video for the title track off their new EP ‘The Jester.’ This video is very grainy, like a horror movie, or bad nineties home movie. Straight jackets seem plentiful and watch out for the unexpected “mother fucker” toward the latter part of the song. It took me by surprise…

No one is more shocked than me that EUROPE is a band staying relative with NEW material. Check out the new video for their second single "Firebox", taken from the new album 'Bag Of Bones.’ The video has a modern touch that mixes well with their classic sound, without trying too hard. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy the video for “Rock the Night” and the karaoke with a ketchup bottle scene (top 10 video highlights of all time), but this is better to listen to…
