Danny Von Kanel received his Bachelor of Church Music degree in 1977 from William Carey College Hattiesburg, Ms and Master’s of Church Music degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Von Kanel has served local churches as Minister of Music at Liberty Baptist Church, Liberty, Ms (1999-2002), First Baptist Church, Franklinton, La (2002-2005) and Memorial Baptist Church, Bogalusa, La (2005-2008). He presently teaches music at the L.P. Elementary/Middle School in Natchitoches. He has been married to Beverly Gay Allen Von Kanel for 35 years. They have two grown sons and five grandchildren.
