The word phantasmagorical: 1. having a fantastic or deceptive appearance, as something in a dream or created by the imagination. 2.having the appearance of an optical illusion, especially one produced by a magic lantern. 3 changing or shifting, as a scene made up of many elements.
Oh how hard to work that word into a conversation! But that fits this book and it's plot line, characters and all the the things that a book a good page turner. Yeah there are some dry spots where the fighting takes too many pages and there are a few of the "saw that coming" spots - BUT there are plenty of turns and twists to make it great.
