Visiting author has booksigning for enthusiastic readers
It was my pleasure to have a booksigning for local Padre Island women on February 4, 2015. Sponsored by Jackie Scheidel, a Padre Island resident, I had the opportunity to visit with many women from the area.
While some were avid Kindle readers (and my books are available through that media), many still enjoy holding a book in their hands, curled up on the sofa with a glass of wine.
I offered historical and contemporary romance, a few of my time travel romances, and both ghost story and Christmas anthologies and they were all grabbed up with enthusiasm.
Having not been able to write and share my work for the past several years due to health issues, it was a great joy to me to be able to discuss romance, books and the love of reading with these wonderful women.
'Better Without You'is a compelling narrative that explores the complexities of an affair, hidden secrets, and abuse. It also highlights a daughter's heartfelt journey as she cares for her mother who is battling dementia.
The deep-dive literary meditations presented as stories, poems, and essays in The American Poet Who Went Home Again, A Mosaic of My Soul at Work, have captivated and inspired readers ever since its first paperback publication in 2008.
