The movie Forbidden Power, based on the novel, just won Best Original Screenplay at the Florence Film Awards in Italy.

The winner's statuette represents the David by Michelangelo. The original is in Florence, The Cradle of the Renaissance.

Paul Kyriazi wrote the novel and is the writer / director of the movie. 

The movie competed with 28 countries, hundreds of entries and 90 finalists.
