Wings ePress, publisher of Terry Lloyd Vinson's earlier novels 'Sea of Bones' and 'The Purgatory Inn', will release his latest forey into the world of dark crime thrillers in June 2022 with 'CRIMSON FALLS'.
The premise:
On the eve of a high school football game of epic local importance, the sleepy township of Crimson Falls, Kentucky and its equally blasé populace will play host to a tsunami in human guise; a rage-filled returning prodigal son with deadly scores to settle.
Left to die only to emerge from a fourteen-year coma a bitter, paraplegic shadow of his former rugged and free-spirted self, one-time gridiron star Gunther McCarron has arisen phoenix-like not to reclaim his place in the tight-knit society but to track down the culprit or culprits responsible for the brutal murder of his then soulmate and his own rapidly-spiraling state of physical and mental anguish.
With the unlikely aid of a similarly paralyzed police records clerk and the somber, tight-lipped uncle who represents his lone remaining kin, McCarron soon faces resistance both subtle and severe in his attempts to uncover the perpetrator responsible for the now-infamous cold case.
As game day finally arrives on a frigid Fall night and a fevered crowd packs Falls stadium to witness two local gridiron rivals clash for bragging rights, the tranquil, snow-slickened streets of Crimson Falls, Kentucky will run as blood red as the shade its name represents.
Terry Vinson’s Crimson Falls is set for a June 2022 release date and will be available in both Kindle and printed editions at Amazon.com, as a Nook Book at Barnes & Noble and as an ebook in other on-line booksellers.
