I watched the tv documentary about the war against Ukraine and humanity last night. My heart breaks for the brave people who are caught up in that unjust invasion of their country. Mass murders against innocent men, women, and children are an offense against humanity whenever and wherever they occur. But to their credit and bravery, Ukraine soldiers and citizens are now kicking Russian soldiers' asses out of their country. Putin failed to calculate what he has never experienced--honor, integrity, and the will to survive against overwhelming odds when history and humanity are on your side. Even Russian citizens are leaving Russia by the millions in protest against Putin's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. Wars are nearly always about the desire to dominate and enslave by the few, and the will to live freely by the many. Tyrants never understand the nature of that clash; free men and women never forget it. Putin cannot win his war, and he will ultimately die in disgrace, despite the riches he has stolen from others. Valor begins with knowing history is on your side.
