Update:

Though it has been a while since my last blog post for The Inspiration Café Blog due to an extended exacerbation of myasthenia gravis, this blog will continue as it has for the past 14 years, beginning next week. This has been an especially difficult time, but I am happy to say my speech is starting to be clearer-- un-garbled—for more & more time each day. My breathing, swallowing, and mobility are being restored, as well. We really do serve a Mighty God!

When we place our hope in Jesus, ALL THINGS really do work for good. Though spending 10 days in the hospital was a daunting experience / challenge—the toughest yet--God provided many ‘ministry moments’ with friends, family, and staff to soften the experience and help me stay focused on Jesus—The Great Healer. Since I always get better, I trusted God to bring my healing to fruition yet again. And that’s exactly what He is doing-- I am thrilled to be feeling and doing better by the day! Hopefully soon I’ll be getting back to my usual. Hurray!

Yes--I have a ways to go, but I have so much to be grateful for! Though it was a close call, I did not need to be intubated. Blessing! I am clearly in gratitude mode for all great insurance & a wonderful, capable medical team. Blessing! I am grateful for all your prayers & support of every kind, and thank God for all the special people who sent get well wishes. Blessings! You will never know how much that all helped, and how grateful I am for each of you! ///
