When a body is discovered at a local church’s trunk-or-treat event, all signs point to pre-meditated murder, but could a silly vendetta over a costume drive inspire a few good women to take matters into their own hands? Realizing they’re the only people with a motive, the church ladies hide the corpse in a coffin. Unfortunately, while the women host the trunk or treat, a mortician arrives and picks up the casket.

When the Halloween festivities are over, the women are left to solve a crime, locate the deceased, and clear their names, but without any experience in law enforcement, they’re leaving breadcrumbs along the way. And someone is waiting and watching for the perfect time to pin a crime on a suspect.
