We are waving goodbye to 2010 with little regret.
Many of us have been through a pretty rough year.
We're now shaking the sand from our boots, pulling up our socks,
and moving forward with vigor. How about you?

We've got a strong foundation, you and I. We read the same types
of books and ebooks. We listen to the same classic teachers.
We enjoy music and we like to laugh.

We motivate ourselves to be better and do better. We've got
initiative, get up and go. We are not accustomed to settling for
getting by. We want to stand in the sunshine and we're willing
to work hard to get there.

2011 is our time to pull out all the stops and reach those goals we've
been thinking about. It may be a new Bentley or a new house. It may be
just cutting loose from that old job. Whatever it is, I challenge you
to keep your eyes on that goal and go for it. You'll hear me running
right along side you for my goals.

Quite some time ago when I was running with Toastmasters for the
number one spot in the world, our motto was "Give It All You've Got!"
We kept that goal in our minds; we measured our progress. We
knew that we had only a year in which to cross the finish line in
first place. And we did it! You can do it, too. Just set your goals
firmly in mind, develop a plan of action, and then Give It All
You've Got!
