I invite you and all to go on this exciting and sometimes fustrating journey with me. Getting published is proving to be much more difficult than I thought it would be. I mean, I didn't expect it to be easy, but I also didn't expect it to be, 1st off all, expensive and 2nd, sometimes very discouraging. Maybe we can all learn something on my adventure. Ok all... This is big news for me.
I have been hired and have started writing a book for someone important. I can't tell you who, but I can tell you some small facts to clue you in.
She was in Bin Ladens bombing on the American Embassy in Kenya. She almost died and was left blind. She has been on Nightline with Ted Kopple and this book is promised to be big. I'm talking, me..on Oprah. That's how big. We are a quarter of a way through it. It could be out in a matter of maybe 4 or 5 months.
After this book is out I am hired to write a book for someone else as well. These people read my poetry and parts of my own book and decided they wanted me for their own. I hope to have my own book [well, my 1st book anyways] out soon after the bombing story. I am also working on 2 others of my own right now. One is a historic romance and the other is an autobiogrophal about me and the last 15 yrs living and surviving in an abusive marraige.
Wish me luck and I sure could use lots of prayers! This could really be my big break.
