Subject: Happy Holidays

Wishing You and Your Family a Peaceful Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!

A few gifts for you:

First, if you're like me, you use the holidays to evaluate the past year and make plans for the next. I've attached a little plan I use each year to accomplish that. Hope you find it helpful.

Second, I just heard of an online video that describes a great personal development program I first participated in back in 1988. I had nothing to do with its creation, and I receive no commission if you watch it. But I do want you to see it, because I want you to know about, and take advantage of, powerful tools available to you to live an amazing life.
http://www.landmarkeducation.com/intro I hear it will only be up until January 2, so check it out while you can.

Lastly, on the FAR, FAR lighter side, I just made a total elf of myself. Check me out by clicking this link (and that's actually me singing!) http://www.elfyourself.com/?userid=4e8f62ded94a5f72e302c3bG06122420

Here’s to finding your piece of heaven in 2007!

MILESTONES & MEMORABLE MOMENTS
Set aside a couple hours to relax with yourself and to mentally walk forward through the past year. Write down on a separate sheet of paper everything that occurs as a significant event or personal shift from your prior life (e.g., began public speaking, sang before 500 people, completed my attachment to the past by selling my house, etc.). I call this my “Acknowledgements & Accomplishments” list. Allow yourself to err on the side of writing down too much (my 2004 list had 61 items) and give specific, measurable results when applicable. Spend an hour or more on this portion of the process alone, as it can be incredibly uplifting and validating. Milk it for all it’s worth. Then, complete the following:
Accomplishments from this year that please you the most:
1.
2.
3.
What elements did you have in place so that you could accomplish these things?
1.
2.
3.
Obstacles/fears you overcame/challenges you faced this year:
1.
2.
3.
What motivated you to break through them?
Who celebrated with you?

Business situations that changed/improved this year:
1.
2.
3.
What made the difference?

Ways that you surprised yourself or others this year:
1.
2.
3.
Who knew?

Mistakes that you tried out this year that you do NOT want to repeat:
1.
2.
3.
Who will hold you accountable?

What was disappointing to you this year?
1.
2.
3.
What can you do to avoid repeating similar disappointments?
Who knew the depth of your disappointment?

Who or What stretched you the most this year:

Who or What brought you the most delight/laughter/love this year:

For what, are you most truly thankful?
