Hello again!

The kids are back in school. The weather will soon be changing to fall. How are you doing? Are you enjoying being back in a routine?

I have been working into a new routine since the start of school. I am enjoying teaching Spanish to 3rd and 4th graders. Kids are fun! Once a month, I even get to be an art teacher. There must be a story in there somewhere. . .

Speaking of school . . . Matthew Allen David, the children's series has a new addition. "Matthew Allen David has the Wishing Bug" - read an excerpt on my website. It is currently making its rounds around my family and the Christian school. Wouldn't it be awesome to one day see these in print?

September has been busy. This is what I'm calling, 'my big publicity push' month. I am working hard at getting "The Way Home" out to more places. I am not a sales person, so if you can help, PLEASE DO! Local beauty salons and family owned restaurants are selling the books now too. Thanks everyone! If you have places to hang flyers or place books to sell, or have someone to review the book in a newspaper or magazine, let me know. Or, do you have other ideas?

Teachers, I am setting up my calendar. Would you like a visit from an author? I adjust the talk to what you are wanting to stress with the kids. Are you talking about writing and rewriting? I DEFINITELY know something about that! Are you trying to help them get ideas for journals? I can help with that too. I even did a math class last spring! We can adapt the talk to your requirements.

Also, all of you with websites - I will be creating a page on my website with special links to your websites (if you desire). The only thing I ask is that you too place a link to my website on yours. Email me with the site and what it is that you have there (toys, make-up, etc). However you can help, we can work together on getting the word out because. . .

"Come to Me - Book II" is coming soon. Do you remember Eryka from Book I? She is the main character now in this one set in Tennessee. You'll be excited to meet up with another character from book I as well. The book remains in text production. I'll keep you up to date. You'll be the first to know of its progress and release!

And finally, writing - I am working on Book III of the For Hymn Mystery Series with Kathleen (Eryka's sister) as the main character. As a mother, this one is hitting a personal thread with me. I'll let you know a little more about it as it unfolds.

And, I've also begun another mystery series set here in Appalachia at a Bed and Breakfast. Ruby and Hank are the lovable owners of this bed and breakfast where mysterious people and events seem to come. I believe you will really enjoy the fun characters in this new series.
