Hello to all.

It's spring! Have you heard the birds chirping? Are flowers popping their heads up where you live? What an exciting time! Do you think that I like spring just a little? Well, you're absolutely right! God is showing us signs of new life everywhere!

I'm sending April's newsletter a little early this time to be sure to let you know about an event that's happening this Friday, March 26. I will be sharing with students at Washington Elementary about being an author. This is their Career Day, and I am eager to talk with the kids.

Also, coming at the end of April, I will once again be in Pataskala at my alma mater. Presently, I will be with students at Watkins Middle School. As a former middle school teacher, I am especially anxious to be back with this age group. Several manuscripts are still out, and I'm awaiting the review on them. But, the good news is (drumroll, please) that I am on Chapter 22 of the third book in the For Hymn Mystery Series. Many of you keep asking about its progress - please continue to do so because it keeps me motivated and encouraged. My kids cheer each time I finish a chapter. Whether they are humoring me or not, it is helpful. :)

Do you remember the title of the next one? Let me help - This I Know, and it uses the hymn "Jesus Loves Me." Kathleen's daughters are missing. But, who has taken them? And, why? These are a few of the mysteries you can join her in solving in Book III of The For Hymn Mystery Series.

Think back to Book II, Come to Me. Remember Eryka? Kathleen is her petite, older sister, who has two daughters and lives in Gallipolis. Yes, that's right. This one takes place in Gallia County (my home) and its neighbor, Meigs County. Members of the sheriff's department, the Gallipolis Visitor's Center, and the prosecuting attorney's office have been very helpful answering my endless questions. To them, I sincerely say, "Thank you."
