Have you had a spring like ours? Rain, rain, and more rain! The Ohio River has gone over flood stage in several places nearby. My kids were just about ready to build an ark. The warm temperatures are certainly welcome though.

There are several upcoming dates and events that I would like to tell you about. If you get a chance, stop by or at least drop an email.

For those of you near the Pataskala, Ohio area . . . I will be back home on Thursday, April 29. It should be a very busy, but exciting time as I will be back and forth between Watkins Middle School with several classes of 6th graders and Etna Elementary to speak with the first grade, a class of second graders, and two classes of fourth graders. Whew! I am looking forward to meeting and visiting with all! Special note to my nieces and nephew: Can't wait to meet your teachers and friends. Will you help and take good care of your Aunt Paula?

On Tuesday, May 4, I will be back in Gallia County at Southwestern Elementary with the third, fourth, and fifth grade. This school is located in Rio Grande, Ohio (yes, that's where the original Bob Evans Farm is located). I will join them for Right to Read week as we talk about Reading to Succeed!

Then, May 6, I will be having surgery. I tell you because you all have been so faithful with your prayers and encouragement. I am humbly asking for those again.
May this be the last surgery!

Future news . . . July 17, the Family Christian Bookstore at the Huntington Mall will host a booksigning for me from 2-4pm. They will also now be selling my books in their store. The manager, Nadra Ankeny, is striving to support all local authors and artists. Thanks, Nadra!

Next time I write, This I Know - Book III, should be on its way to the publisher for review. It is so close to finished. Have you ever felt overwhelming guilt due to something you had done or should not have done? How did you handle that? Did you blame yourself, and falter under the weight of your shame? Did you blame others? Did you run to or away from God? The main character, Kathleen, is in this predicament now. Join her and her husband, Keith, as they work to retrieve their missing girls through several unwanted twists and turns of events.
