Happy September!

Just as promised, news about the upcoming book shower and on-line contests is here. Let's get to it.

Book shower (a.k.a. - book signing)
September 25
2-4pm
Gallia County Convention and Visitor Bureau
63 Court Street (use the Third Ave. entrance)
Gallipolis, OH

I will briefly speak about the book, read a chapter, and answer your questions. Bring your book to be signed, your questions, and a friend. The whole series will be available for purchase and signing. A portion of each purchase and any money you wish to donate will be given to help the hurricane victims.

There will be a kid's corner for kids of all ages, sponsored by Fellowship of Faith, with a contest, face painting, and a craft. Be sure to bring your kids with you!

There will be food by Ohio Valley Bank, cake by Parkfront Diner, and a huge Gallia County display by the Visitor Center. AND, DOOR PRIZES galore will be given out for you, my valued readers and friends. See the website for the list of businesses and their donations. This has been changing rapidly as more businesses are getting involved. If you would like to donate a gift for this shower, please email me right away.


ON-LINE CONTESTS
There are two contests beginning now through September 24. For each contest there will be a local winner and an internet friend winner. Each will receive a signed copy of Book III. A GRAND PRIZE winner will be chosen from all entries. This winner will receive a copy of each book in the series so far. That's 3 personalized books for you or to share!

Switching gears, please join me in praying for and helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina. My heart aches, as I'm sure yours does, for all of them. May they feel God's presence and love more dearly than ever.
