Greetings!

Are you feeling stressed or depressed right now? Does this time of year seem to fly by in a flurry of activity? I understand these sentiments because the last few weeks I have been feeling discouraged, and the seasonal activities have begun in full force. If you are feeling this way, I want to encourage you. Take time to enjoy your many blessings - family, friends, pets, and remember to spend quiet time alone with your Heavenly Father. I've discovered God has placed extra blessings in my path in the form of a kind word, a smile, my puppy's kiss hello. Continue in His love even when you feel empty or discouraged. He will be there, ready to pick you up, dust you off, and push you on His way again. Don't give up!

OK - brief updates. All December visits have been cancelled. I know several of you were thinking about joining me at the Newark library, but they had so few show up for their other author events that she did not want to do that to me too. Southwest Licking schools had so many requests for visits that I will be coming sometime the third nine weeks to do a marathon 2-day event instead of one now and another again later.

Some of you shoppers are pros at finding deals at this time of year. Well, I have one for you now too. If you'd like to have signed copies of any of the books in The For Hymn Mystery Series for gifts, they are just $16 each, plus shipping. The best shipping rates are by media mail - in which case, I'd need to have your order by December 14 to get it to you in time for Christmas. I will ship after that as long as you don't mind the cost increase.
