Greetings from Gallipolis. Yes, I’m home again. It was about 70 degrees here today. The beautiful, snowy mountains of Snowshoe, West Virginia are just a beautiful memory. It was great to hear from so many of you commenting on the last newsletter written from there.

Wednesday, March 22, 2006 – Come visit with me from 2-3 pm. at the Newark Public Library in Newark, Ohio. Bring your questions as I will answer those as soon as the brief presentation about my books and writing is finished. A book sale will follow with all three books in the For Hymn Mystery Series available for you to purchase and have signed.

Last month, I enjoyed listening to mystery writer, Carlene Thompson. She visited with the Wannabe Writers in Pt. Pleasant, WV. What a delightful person! She has several books coming out soon that take place there. Let’s check out her books!

Also, a week ago, my son’s guinea pig gave birth. God granted me the privilege of witnessing the entire process from the first birth through the fourth. How amazing! Of course, I wrote about the blessed event for my son to have the eye-witness account for his scrapbook. I highly recommend you record precious events like that. Journaling is a great outlet. Lastly, people comment to me about how they would love to write a book. Then come the excuses . . . not enough time is the most common. Let’s face it, that’s the biggest drawback for all of us. Well, I want to offer you a chance to write your story while I create one too. I’ve just started a new book. You can keep tabs on it on the page on my website. If you’d like, I will put your name, working book title, and word count there as well. I’ve found it is a great way to stay accountable! Drop me a line if you’d like to take on this challenge.
