Wow! I haven't written a newsletter since December - that was last year 2006. How have you been? Is your new year going well?
News, news, news . . .
Three of the four short stories made it through the final stages and into two Chicken Soup books. They just sent me a picture of the New Mom's Soul book cover, which contains one of my stories. The cover is beautiful. The other two stories will be in the Beach Lover's book. Both books are scheduled out this spring. Yay God!
The same week I learned of these 3 acceptances, I received two rejections about other projects. I tell you this because that is part of a writer's life. It also happens to all of us in some form. As you know, rejection in life is hard. Getting past it can be even harder. God never leaves us though.
He has begun a stirring within me for a new Bearing Life ministry. Learning, equipping, and sharing God's love with those in need is the root of it. As this develops with lots of help and guidance, look for updates at my new blog: BearingLife.blogspot.com.
Also found there are thoughts from me as I see God at work in everyday life. Writing is still part of His plan for me, and you can read for yourself how He works in my life.
