What a wondrous fruit of God's Holy Spirit, JOY! In God's holy Word the Scriptures state many verses on JOY. The Joy of the Lord is our strength. Without Joy we are rendered weak against the wiles and the attacks of the enemy. JOY is for the taking. Joy is not happiness, as some might think. Happiness is an outward testimony due to favorable circumstances. JOY from the Lord remains the same regardless of the circumstances. Seek JOY, for it is my desire to inform you according to God's Word. Clearly it states the Joy in the Lord in these verses:
"I tell you that in the same way, there will be more JOY in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance."(Luke 15:7)
"These things I have spoken to you, that My JOY may be in you, and that your JOY may be made full." (John 15:11)
"For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and JOY in the Holy Spirit." (Romans 14:17)
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, JOY, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness." (Galatians 5: 22)
"Make my JOY complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose." (Philippians 2:2)
"Consider it all JOY, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance." (James 1:2-3)
"And these things we write, so that our JOY may be made complete." (1 John 1:4)
"A JOYful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones." (Proverbs 17:22)

A Word of Encouragement: When we open ourselves to the Lord in His Scriptures, He sends His Holy Spirit to dwell within our hearts. Let us take on the JOY of the Lord and be moved by His Spirit. May we be JOYful in all things.

Prayer of the Day: Dear heavenly Father we ask for Your JOY to overtake us. Teach us Lord to be JOYful in all things. May it be the desire of our hearts, that others may see the JOY of the Lord shine forth. Even amidst trials and tribulations, show us the way. May we be filled with Your JOY, oh Lord. The JOY of the Lord is my strength. Amen (So be it)
