Hello everyone,

I'm about to reactivate my newsletter after a frustratingly stalled career. Hopefully, this time it will last a little longer.

The latest Jean Adams news, is that THE SABINE CONNECTION, which has been around for a while, won third place in the Treble Heart inaugural book award for 2002. I'm kinda pleased with that.

My second book for Treble Heart, BEATS A WILD HEART, is now available and it features a mythical creature, or is it? known as The Beast of Bodmin Moor. Set on Cornwall's bleak and windswept Bodmin Moor, where legends are born, anything is possible.

The heroine, Emma, wants to be a wildlife photographer, and to prove she is capable, sets herself an impossible task - to be the one to photograph the supposedly mythical beast. You've guessed it, she finds it. But what she doesn't bargain on is the hero trying to protect it and hiding its presence from her. It all add up to some great conflict and a few surprises.

I've also just finished writing ETERMAL HEARTS (working title)an ancient Egyptian time travel. A some people already know that this is THE book of my heart. It is set in 1500 BCE during the reign of Akhenaten, the heretic pharaoh, and his wife, Nefertiti. Some say that Nefertiti is one of the most beautiful women who ever lived.

We are all looking forward to the New Zealand romance writer's conference this year, called Addicted to Love. We have lots of amazing guests, including Lee Emory, author and publisher of Treble Heart Books, as well as Mills & Boon's latest sensation, Jane Porter.
