This December newsletter brings some news for my readers. Two new books have recently been released that may interest you. The first is a study in religious - based genocide from Biblical days to contemporary times and explores the origins of god - sponsored slaughter. Titled "The Gods of Man - - Gods of Nature - God of War" this is published under my imprint. It will be available in a couple of weeks from Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other on - line stores and may be ordered from your favorite bookstore as well.

The second book, also my imprint, is about a fascinating religion that has up to one - half of the population of Venezuela capativated. The religion is focused on a 16th century Indian girl called Maria Lionza. She is worshipped as a goddess in that nation as well as a few others. She is regarded as a goddess of nature as well as a symbol of her nation. This religion is a mixture of Native traditions such as shamanism as well as Santeria and Catholicism. Strangely enough, Maria Lionza and her followers are almost unknown outside of South America and this small book, titled "Maria Lionza: An Indigenous Goddess of Venezuela," is the first serious study presented in English.
