I went off my anti-depressants for several days--the first day was super but yesterday was gut-wrenching, nausea, etc. So~I'm on them again.
Meanwhile, those who've been writing and not received a reply, please accept my apologies--my computer has been down. Al reloaded it with the wrong program and ZIP, everything was gone. I'd been backing it up BUT the places he'd designated infro to be saved when 'backed up' didn't exist on the reloaded program so my backup doesn't exist. Doogie is thriving, anxious to have Al teach him how to play the keyboard as he is learning the xylophone at school. He's memorizing songs by ear ... which is super :)!
Today is the funeral for Al's Uncle Chon. Please remember us and Chon's family in your prayers. We weren't able to attend but have extended our deepest sympathy.
Thanksgiving is fast approaching. To all of you, Americans or not, I am thankful for your friendship, love, compassion and welcome constructive criticism. If I have hurt you by word, deed, or lack of response, forgive me please. To ere is human.
Age, perhaps, slows my 'healing' ... or perhaps I'm still just angry; I miss Helen dearly. I never aspired to be 'the oldest' of any group :) let alone my family. Age does not guarantee wisdom so I've the good Lord to help us all be more wise, to give us strength for daily living and to help us know what and when to raise our voices for change.
I support those serving overseas but deplore the fact that they are there, that there's war anywhere.
I am my brother, my brother is me, every death diminishes me, every birth enhances. May the goodness that is in each and everyone, regardless of our differences, truimph always. My thanks giving is everyday and I thank God for each and everyone of you.
