It's been a L O N G working summer with little rest.
Al's parents, despite the new room having been built for them, are still refusing to move in with us.
My short story, Robbed, was of interest to Elena Varzari who contacted me about including it in a textbook for Alecu Russo Balti State University, Republica Moldova. Permission was granted and Ms. Varzari sent me two copies of the book, "Modern English Short Stories for Critical Thinking Classes"--on for me and one for our local library. I feel so honored as this is the first foreign publication of any of my work.
Also, I received confirmation in a letter August 21st that my biography has been chosen to appear in the 25th anniversary issue or 'Who's Who Among America's Women'.
Although I recently twisted my spine (we added a second Master suite and have been moving furniture), my back is slowly healing and we're back to moving furniture :). Doc said it could be 2-6 weeks till it's back to normal.
We registered Doogie into the sixth grade on August 25th. He is growing like a weed--up to my nose already. He's doing super.
