March 18th, 2008

Today we are saying good - bye to Dad's last sibling, his younger brother, Daniel. Although we couldn't make it to the funeral, Uncle Daniel will always be in our hearts. Please keep his family in your prayers.

As you know, Dad will be 87 on March 24th so we will be going down for his birthday. We look forward to seeing Al's younger daughter and her family there as well as Al's older brother, Arturo.

Mariah, ill the past two weeks with the flu, turned two Feb. 28th and now weighs 20 pounds. She's tall and thin but a sweetheart. We love her dearly.

Doogie 'wowed' the crowd at the school play with his performance March 6th as the 'sound effects man' ... the crowd simply roared with applause, laughter, etc. He brought down the house. He will be fourteen April 22nd and went on his first date last Saturday - - with a girl who is his best friend. He is awesome!

I'm still working on converting my e - books, currently "An Artistic Appreciation of Jesus," to paperbacks. AAA of Jesus will now be two books instead of one. It's still a work in progress. I'm self - publishing via Blurb.com. You can too.

In fact, if you're a photographer there is a contest via Blurb.com where one can win $25,000 for the best photographic book! Check it out!

Al has designed a webpage for our homeowner's associates and is studying to be able to do more such work. It's good to see him enjoying the computer again.

I've been remiss with my newsletter, communications, emails, etc. so do please forgive me. Once a month is my goal for the future. Nudge me if you haven't heard from me in 30 days as I tend to doze off.
