It's an awful lot like standing on a high cliff overlooking a lake, trying to get up enough nerve to jump.

A new business partnership has emerged for my writing. There is talk of strange things like television and internet and the whole thing has me scratching my head in wonder.

My lastest book "To Waltz with a White Horse" will be out near October 28th and we're having a big shindig here near Grand Rapids at the Sawmill Inn with me siging books while nice folks stand around eating those cute little sandwiches. I'll be sending you a personal invitation and I really hope that I get the chance to meet you all.

Also we're starting a new TV show called "American Rivers" with Ron Shepherd. I'll be interviewing great folks from all over the country and I'll be at a different river location each week. I will be adding the GPS coordinates of where we are so you can find these places if you are interested.

If you know of anyone that might like an invitation, please email their address to me. We should have a pretty good time. Also if you know of anyone with a good tale to tell, I'd like to meet with them and see if they want to go on the show with me.

Well, time to get busy. The world is fresh and new each day and I'm going to make the best of it.
