It's been a while, and a lot has been going on, so here's a brief summary...

Leaving the holy hell that has dominated my life for so long has been quite productive...maybe not financially productive, but definitely creatively productive.

A few days ago I finished the rough draft of my new novel, which is based on a short story entitled "A Problem in Translation," which is available as an illustrated chapbook at http://www.genremall.com/fictionr.htm#translation

An old short story of mine entitled "The Lives of Billions" has been reprinted in an anthology dedicated to James Baker called Esperance. Please feel free to order copies at http://www.genremall.com/anthologiesr.htm#esperance

Another of my short stories, which was a bit of an experimental piece recently appeared in the premier issue of Allegory Ezine. This one you can read for free at http://www.allegoryezine.com

I've also recently delivered Wondrous Web Worlds Vol. 6 to Tyree at Sam's Dot Publishing, and I've also recently finished a collection of the works of James Baker entitled Just Because. Both of these titles should be available later this year.

Sam's Dot Publishing has recently gotten back into publishing novels, and the first, Friends in Dark Places by John Bushore will be released in early October. I was the editor on this title as well. You can pre-order this title at http://www.genremall.com/fictionr.htm#friends

As I write this, MileHiCon is just six weeks away. I should know in the next couple of weeks what my schedule will be. This year should be really interesting considering that Tyree is coming out for it. Denver may never be the same!!!

Finally, and I'm still amazed that I did this, I recently got myself on MySpace. It seemed like a dumb idea, but I've been doing a lot of networking and it's actually working out pretty well.
