The sequel to Journey from Shanghai is up. Stone of Heaven fulfills and satisfies and there is no more deserving family who garner the rewards. I have always believed that true love has to be earned. You don't experiment and try staying together -- you have to want to be together with all your heart. Anything worthwhile will hurt you to the core, which is why, if you ever achieve your desires, you appreciate them all the more.

Stone is America seen through the eyes of newcomers. What they think of what they see will surprise you. I could not finish this book after my husband died and put it away for a long, long time. Then a cat came into my life who became much beloved. I then started a book on Pinky, who showed me that love can come in another form, but I am having the usual troubles placing it with a traditional publisher. There will be pictures, and line drawings of the action if I can find someone to do them. There is an actual story line, based on my experiences with Pinky and her friends, the blonde cats. It is funny, engaging, and often eye-opening. I didn't know myself that cats could be so wise and smart. The short book runs about 9,500 words.
