On the eve of her arranged marriage to an old man, Lady Godiva is
ready to rebel. She doesn't want an old man, she wants a young, handsome
virile man, and she knows the one place where she can get him.

Lady Godiva has never been to the Beltane celebrations before, but
wants to. Defying her stepfather, she disguises heself as a peasant
and goes along with her maid, where she meets a handsome stranger who
initiates her into the secrets of womanhood.

Feeling flushed and happy after her assignation, Godiva has nothing
on her mind except the man and when she might see him again. But her
stepfather's spies are everywhere and she has been seen.

Her stepfather, angry, and jealous, comes up with a most unusual
punishment. Lady Godiva must ride through the town naked on a busy
market day...

This works well as an erotic romance, although readers who read a lot
of historical romances, would expect a bit more detail than what is
in this book.

It's a short book, the writing flows easily, and can be finished in
one sitting. Lady Godiva and her lover are the characters with the most
depth, the others seem to be there to just allow them to get together.

If you like love stories, where the bedroom door is not slammed in
the reader's face, give Lady Godiva a try.

Drowning Rapunzel

Wow! Ms. Gisby has written an exciting thriller! DROWNING RUPUNZEL is
definitely my kind of read. From start to finish, I couldn’t put this
book down.

The main character, Beth Gregory is alive, no matter that the reader
knows this is fiction. Will she ever find the peace that she so
desires? Through all the twists and turns, you won’t know until the
very end. How awful to find out you are scheduled to be a victim of
your own affliction. What do I mean? Get a copy of this book and find
out. You will be sorry if you don’t, because the next vision Beth
has - may be you as the victim.

Don’t believe in physic ability? You will when you read this thriller.

eth Petersen, a scientist with the National Ice Center, thinks he
has discovered a way to predict where the next ice breaks will occur
in the Antarctic ice sheets. He's also discovered a fault in one,
if it breaks off, the water displacement would cause enormous floods
all around the world, with coastal cities and islands disappearing, in
fact, the end of the world as we know it.

Seth's boss wants him to give a lecture about his findings to a
conference. There's one big problem Seth has a phobia aobut people,
he's absolutely terrified of them and he has a panic attack at work,
when it was only his colleagues he had to give a presentation to, how
is he going to manage at a conference? Confiding his problem to his
boss, Seth gets out of attending the conference as a speaker, and his
colleague, Bill gives the talk instead. Unfortunately for Bill, a
group of eco-terrosists don't want Seth's findings to be made public,
and Bill is gunned down at the conference.

The last thing Seth wants is attention, but that what he gets, first
from the media who call him "The Shy Samaritan" after he saved a
woman from a burning car, but failed to stay around for any thanks, and
now from the terrorists who are trying to kill him.

The book is a real page turner, with enough plot twists and turns that
you have to keep reading. Seth is not your typical hero, he doesn't
have a perfect life, he is just an ordinary guy with problems which he
has to overcomce. In my mind that just makes him all the more endearing
and easy to relate to.

Seth's phobia is handled very well, very realistically (I suffered from
this same phobia and the author has got it exactly right.) An exciting
tale that doesn't let up.

A great read.
