People often tell friends about exciting new products and recommend products based on personal experience. This practice has been going on well before online shopping, through word of mouth. But social networks have made information sharing easier than ever by keeping friends just a click away and introducing powerful sharing methods, like wall posts, tweets, and pins. While the methods for recommending products have evolved, the benefits of doing so have not. When a customer recommends a brand to a friend, the brand benefits. Save with Friends is a great way for brands to attract new customers by giving existing customers the opportunity to share their recommendations with friends.

Here's how the Save with Friends coupons work:
1. A customer purchases an item that qualifies for a Save with Friends coupon.
2. The customer claims the coupon by connecting their Amazon account to Facebook on either the Thank You Page or on www.amazon.com/Coupons.
3. The customer chooses to share the coupon with up to 5 friends.
4. The customer's friends receive a notification via Facebook that the coupon has been shared with them.
5. The customer's friends connect their Facebook account to Amazon and claim the coupon on www.amazon.com/Coupons.
Save with Friends coupons will be merchandised across the Amazon.com platform, on Amazon.com/Coupons, and on coupon - qualifying product detail pages.
For the initial launch, pricing for a Save with Friends coupon will be consistent with the current Vendor Powered Coupon pricing of 13 cents per coupon clip and 8 cents per redemption. The overall coupon budget is, as always, determined by you, the vendor.
