Flash Fiction

The name says it all. “Flash fiction” refers to super short-short stories that can be read in minutes as opposed to hours. In a world of increasingly short attention spans, flash fiction is becoming increasingly popular.

I have posted my first efforts at flash fiction at my Authors’ Den web site, and I invite you to stop in to have a look. Looking for a quick, coffee break fix? This is one story you can read before you even finish that cup of coffee -- and you’ll still have time for a bit of online shopping.

Since it is such a brief piece, the idea of providing a summary would almost make the story irrelevant. However, I can provide some initial reader feedback I received when I first posted this story in an online discussion group: “I only have one word for this… WOW!” “Very powerful.
