As I was washing my face the other night, I glanced up at the mirror. There were my daughter's handprints. That really grumbled me out. Who did she think is going to clean this up?

Then I saw it. The dead gnat.

We had been invaded by gnats. I hadn't paid much attention earlier in the evening when Addy had announced she was helping rid us of them, but here in front of me was the evidence. Addy had been fighting the fight for our side.

My daughter, gnat - killer, all around good girl. What mother can resist such a calling card? I grabbed the camera.

Guess what's still on my mirror?
