Breaking news here. I have just sold my first novel, an epic fantasy story, to be written as a trilogy at this point in time. DOUBLE DRAGON BOOKS will be publishing this collection, the first of the series to be out later this year. A lot of work has been put into this one, and a mountain of editing. All for the fame and the money...if either existed. No, writing is a wonderful and rewarding hobby for me. I have a passion about it, and have met a lot of great people. Time consuming? Yeah. Frustrating? Definitely. Writers are a tough breed though - insightful, witty, motivated, and intelligent (where do I fit into this picture then?)

Enough of my rambling. Going to World Horror Convention in April, traveling to the windy city itself, Chicago. Looking forward to meeting many of my friends out there. A special note to you writers in particular -thanks for the support. The writing community is a close-knit group, and we feed off the kindness and encouragement of each other. We read each other's works, buy each other's books, and provide suggestions and feedback among ourselves. It's a cool gig, and I'm glad to have the support and friendship of my fellow writers.
