Hello All, thanks much to everyone on this slowly growing list, and welcome newcomers!

A new rake leans quietly in my garage (plaguing my dreams), raccoons wail the night with their autumn mating calls, pumpkins and gourds decorate our home, orange and black waxy convections fill candy containers. Can you tell it's fall? The air is feeling brisk, the leaves begin to change - yes, Halloween is only a few weeks off.

I have a lot of news to report since the last newsletter, but I'm a busy guy ( don't confuse this with working long hours.) My latest acceptances include BLACK ROSE Magazine, published in Ireland but available worldwide. This story is my longest to date, a 12,000 word tale, and one of my favorites. Two acceptances at BLOOD MOON RISING Magazine, forthcoming sometime near or after year's end. The ART OF HORROR web-zine has bought two of my stories for separate e-anthologies, BLACK DAYS, and the upcoming STEP BY STEP. Here is the URL, the anthos feature a number of talented authors.

ALTERNATE REALITIES bought a science fiction piece for their December issue. FLESH & BLOOD Magazine, hailed as horror magazine of the year by JIH Newsletter, accepted some of my work for an issue next year. DARK LEGACY, a Lovecraftian print magazine, features one of my stories in issue #11 and one in issue #12.

Just a few words on the recent events - I would be remiss if I failed to mention anything. We all have been touched by the shroud of "real world" horror. Some directly, others at a distance. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, friends, and family. We all will find ways to help - whether great or small. And don't forget, a kind word surpasses many evils that exist in this world. Anyone who helps out, even in the smallest fashion, is another hero in my book. Take care.
