As the new chill in the morning air hits our lungs and the pretty green leaves on our summer trees turn just a shade different we feel the excitement of the changing of seasons. That 'something' in the air stirs up 'something' in most of us that makes us yearn for a cozy fire, family, and home. And with the recent American tradegies our family and home should be valued more than ever before.
Instead of asking ourselves 'If we kissed our kids (grandkids)today?', maybe we should be asking 'How many times we have hugged our kids today?'. I know our economy is shaky but let us try to enjoy this holiday season with more family warmth than we have taken for granted in the past. Use our recent events as an excuse to mend old fences with loved ones and find a way to open our hearts and homes to all those in your relation. May God bless our efforts (especially when it comes to some of our in-laws!).
On a lighter note, I just recieved my first hard copy editions of 'innocent insights'. THEY ARE GREAT. I know they are a few bucks more, but the hard cover really makes the book I think. It would make a great gift over the giving times to come. I will not know my sales results of 'ii' for some time, however 'Our Biggest Little Hero' seems to be selling itself.
This coming next few months would also be ample opportunity to write down some fuzzy warm, touching, and funny incidences that happen in your family and send them to me for possible future publications. So keep that in mind as well.
