It's been a wonderful month for myself and my books. I haven't forgotten my newsletter funny story of the month, however I will be sending a few in a X-tra newsletter since this one will be full of updates.
Most of you know that I now have a new books website. I actually have two, those of you who have the first address, it is still active and I hope your children enjoy it. The second one is a more user friendly website, yet equally as appealing for the little ones. The first website listed is the most current easier to load site and the second is the other similar site I designed a few weeks back. If haven't visited them before grab the kids, turn up your volume, and go. If you have, drop by again and most of all sign my guestbook as I enjoy hearing from my friends.

This great Authors Den site that I am a proud member of has provided some wonderful opportunities for SusieQ's Books. Currently underway is an indexing system which will put SusieQbooks on the map. If you enter SusieQbooks into one of your major search engines you may find this site and others available in your search. More keywords about my authors name, books, and stories will be infiltrated into the system as the program installs itself. This all making it easier when 'innocent insights' becomes available on the market along with my future publications. I can't thank the staff at my authors group enough.

I am now hosting a Holiday Story Contest (yes, I know it's spring) to help me gather material for Christmas Edition...'innocent insights II'. This will be a much improved and fuller version of precious holiday stories about children and families. I have more time, skills, assistance, and promoting opportunities to provide a superior book to the first in my series of humorous, non-fiction, creations. NO GOOD NEWS IS SMALL NEWS!!!
I was speaking with the editor of our local newspaper
'THE NEW ERA' here in Sweet Home, Or just the other day. When I mentioned that my first book would be finished and available to the market in the next four weeks he excitedly offered to do a feature article on the book. That's an achievement as to the fact that I don't have my press releases out yet!
For all my contributors to 'innocent insights I' I will be enclosing with your free copy of your book a personal press release with your names on it about your child's heartwarming stories. This will give you the option to brag to your townsman. You will have the option to distribute, as you wish to the local newspaper and media of your choice.

I have spoken with Bill, my good friend at Indy Publishing, and 'innocent insights' is coming along. Never quick enough for an anxious writer but these things take time as I am quickly learning. However I do have the ISBN#'s available if you would like to jot them down to keep handy for when the book is released soon. They are as follows:

'Our Biggest Little Hero' has a new subtitle. 'In the Hands of a Gentle God'. I find that during my writing of a book, new ideas occur to me along the way. If you note the cover photo, you will see Daddy's rather large hand that encompasses our tiny son. Since God was a great protector during this time in our lives, it seamed a fitting title. My wonderful Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Ken, with many degree's in English, are currently copy edited this wonderful exciting and touching book. They are doing such a great job I am ready to offer them a co-authorship, but we will see how that goes.

'It's 10pm, Where is you Government' is on low priority right now but will be available in a few months for those who have an interest in this politically controversial book.
