I recieved my SECOND royalty reports from GU for 'Our Biggest Little Hero' and I have to say in its first month of release it has well exceeded my expectations. I knew this story touched the heart and would be a page turner. Thanks to all of you that ordered a copy and please feel free to email me and tell me how you liked it. I still have a letter drafted for Oprah and plan on sending her a copy soon.
Promoting a book is a very expensive and time consuming project and I have just been so busy with so many projects these days. As I am sure we all have been with the current nations crisis. God Bless you all as I hope you are all weathering our situation well.
I am hoping to order bulk copies of both my books for our coming holiday affairs here in my hometown. I know as a local author I will do well. I will also do face painting for the children at my book selling booth, not really to help sell my books, as much as I love doing this with kids!
Both 'innocent insights' and 'Our Biggest Little Hero' are listed at both Barnes&Nobles.com and Amazon.com however I advise that no one try to purchase copies of 'Our Biggest Little Hero' there, I cannot meet the high price demands of these on-line bookstores.
Remember that these books would make excellent Holiday Gifts for friends and families!

I have given a rough draft copy of 'Henry, Hank and the Harvest Moon' to Lattin Farms (where the story takes place) and they are more excited than I am I believe, so now I must get busy completing the book and getting it off to the publisher.
I believe my father is very interested in copy-editing it for me. You know how father's love to correct their children. I actually appreciate his guidence this time...lol. The book has to be ready by spring of 2002 for the farms festivities. I also want to publish a pre-school version of this very exciting, fun book.
I can get 'H,H,HM' done in just a few weeks if I put my nose to the keyboard. Then I will begin the challenging task of gathering humorous stories about labor and child birth for my coming book 'Laboring Moments'. I am anxious to do that one, I know that will be a hit. I need all the help I can get though, so if you have a comical situation that you experienced during the birth of your child, friend, family member; by all means send me your story!

On a personal note our family is doing well as we have no found a lovely 3/4 bedroom home with a big yard in a wonderful neighborhood. We have the option to purchase down the line. We are also looking forward to the wedding of my daughter in December. I am in shock as I am sooo young.
