My publisher happens to be Writer's Exchange and Sandy Cummins is the CEO there. Writer's Exchange is based in Australia, however, there is no need to fear about ordering internationally. You may not want to invest in a reader, and that's okay, even though they make great traveling gifts, and can be taken anywhere, and have a light to read by, so you can also read at night. Where...oh,
in the bathtub, on a plane, during your lunch break at work. Ideas of where and how to read a book anymore are endless.
For anyone who is computer happy, you can read it on your computer, in PDF, html, or use the Microsoft reader.
What if you have tried an ebook, but don't want to buy a gadget, and don't enjoy reading from your computer? Well, there is a solution, you can buy the ebook and print it out, including the cover art.
So why did writers start publishing in ebook formats, instead of print?
The biggest reason is freedom. I kid you not. Writer's love the freedom of not having to write
a certain way, or to a formula. You are going to find diversity in ebooks like you have never seen before. There's a new market for books and ebooks is it. They are here to stay, they aren't going away anymore than the computer would suddenly disappear.
But you don't like to buy something on-line. Well, most publishers and booksellers have a secure page for purchasing books. This means that hackers and others wanting to view your actions can't see it. Paypal has been around for some time and although you might hear horror stories, don't listen, because Paypal has been very dependable for some time now.
The trick to buying anything on line is not to use credit cards with high balances. A safe way
to buy is to establish a small personal checking account and use it for on-line purchasing. As long as your balance is low, you are pretty safe from a spies.
Always remember to close out your browser when you purchase anything on line, it's a safe practice.
