I thought I’d share some fun news! MARIE CLAIRE magazine is publishing a short, filler article of mine. It is about – gulp – my and my husband’s sex life. You’ll see my photograph above the piece and the issue will be available October 1st in stores everywhere (November’s issue). Further, the editor and I developed a rapport and she has asked me to send more clips of my writing. So who knows? I may become a MARIE CLAIRE contributor in the near future.

Additionally, Susan Meier, author of over 28 Silhouette Romance novels and one of America’s most beloved writers, agreed to let me interview her. Plus, I *may* have found a loving publisher for my historical romance novel SCARGO – the book for which the idea was created by my mom – about Nobscussett Indian Princess Scargo. This publisher has real heart, generally markets vintage-era romance books, and is about to hit the mass paperback industry. The publisher’s owner -- an old friend of sorts -- looked over my first chapters carefully then suggested some structural changes but thought the novel could “really shine” once made (Wish me luck ;)!
