While AYDIL VICE AND HER DISGUSTIN’ HAIR KNOTS awaits an agent’s reply in coming weeks, I’m anticipating two book stores' answers on whether they want to sell it in their stores. In meantime, tomorrow I will be getting the book ready for sending to those waiting so desperately to read it. Again, so far, it has gotten fantastic reviews (relief!).

My dad, Walter Webb, has had his own writing successes these days as the contributor to an historical UFO book called ENCOUNTERS AT INDIAN HEAD: The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Abduction Revisited. In case anyone forgot over the decades, this was the first widely publicized UFO abduction case. Would you believe my dad was the first investigator on it, too? Talk about going down in history! I’m proud to say he contributed an enormous chapter on what has been discovered in the case since. Phenomenal reviews have followed, as well as a six-page portion of my dad’s chapter in UFO Magazine. Here are some reviews:

My final news comes with warning. I have been slowly writing more and more for teens, and as everyone can admit, the teen years are ones of intense emotion, longing, pain, and of course, life lessons. Twenty years ago, at age sixteen, I experienced my first love / sex. Keep in mind this was TWENTY years ago, but it has remained vivid all these years. My supportive and sweet husband asked me yesterday why I wanted to write about it. So here’s my reasoning: It was a very special time in my life. Another writing friend said she’s been wondering if, as a Young Adult writer, she will be able to reveal such personal details in her writing. I too have struggled with this, ultimately concluding that if my story will allow its audience to identify with it, and important life lessons can be chewed on / learned from, it is worth sharing. That said, if you are in any way uncomfortable with me as a sexual kid, don’t read the following story. I have changed names -- not my own -- but all others, to protect the innocent.
