This month’s story comes from Kari Ana Smith of Toledo, Oregon who began experiencing paranormal activity in a home where she lived with her mother from the very first night they moved in.

Ghosts Come and Go at Kari’s House

Kari Ana Smith always knew she had the ability to sense the presence of spirits but it was not until she moved into a 34 - year - old home in Toledo, Oregon in October of 2003 that she actually saw them.
“Before I moved here, I had sensed lots of spirits around me,” Kari Ana noted. “Once I moved here I began also seeing them. As time went by, I began to realize that indeed I am seeing spirits a lot.”
The 53 - year - old uses the present tense because she still lives in the haunted home.
“There was activity the first night,” Kari Ana explained adding that she saw two ghosts – a man and a woman. “They were dressed in rural type clothes - clothes from anywhere since say 1940.”
She noted that the man wore a plaid red wool shirt and blue jeans, while the woman also wore jeans and had long blonde hair.
“I thought at first they were live people inside my home. The minute I stepped to go into the hall where I saw them, it was just empty.”
Kari Ana also sees what she calls “outlines” of spirits but it is enough to distinguish the ghost’s’ height and size, as well as some other features. She added that she has lost quite a few friends and family members over the past eight years and she recognizes them when they show up in spirit in her home.
These “residual type people at times will stop what they do and look at me as if trying to tell me something. I have gotten premonitions very soon after these things happen.”
Other entities appear in different ways.
“I have woken up in the middle of the night also and have seen what looks like a solid alive person's head coming through the opening of the door in my bedroom smiling at me. I have also woken up and seen a hand coming down to hit me. I of course flinch and nothing hits me.”
She has also heard the sounds of a man and woman running down her hallway, going into a bedroom and laughing. Then she heard what sounded like them landing on a bed with noisy springs… “Only the beds we (own) have box springs that make little to no noise.”
As well, she has heard the sound of water running when there wasn’t any and a lot of whispering. If that is not already enough to rattle the bravest soul, Kari Ana has also heard the sound of Viking music and “lots of carousing” that seems to emanate from under her home.
The noise was just horrible.”
Kari Ana explained that the house has a room underneath it and another room in the attic but no one goes in or out of them. In fact, she said there is no way to enter the attic from inside the house. She said she has seen spirits in the hallway seemingly climbing up into the attic as if they are in a different house.
“For a long time, I wondered if some homeless people were just using our home to get out of the cold.”
She added that these spirits appear to be trying to tell her something and shortly after seeing them, she gets another premonition.
Oddly, she has also caught “glimpses” of people that she knows who have not passed over. She assumes that they are having “out of body” experiences and are just coming to visit her.
“These people are mere glimpses because they are still alive.”
Despite all of this paranormal activity, Kari Ana says her mother never hears anything. To find out why she was seeing the ghosts, she spoke with a neighbor to see if anything unusual had ever happened there. She learned that a 13 - year - old who lived in the house previously had experienced some paranormal events. She found this information interesting but it did not help her present situation.
“The first year it was very difficult to sleep at all,” she said.
From an early age, Kari Ana knew she had paranormal abilities.
“I had a lot of past life memories,” she said. I asked my dad once if he remembered when he was my uncle and he killed my entire family except for me because I had been unwell and stayed behind before my family went home. It was during the 1850's. Later during a Past Life reading, I was told this same information.”
Her premonitions also began at an early age. When she was about 7 years old, she had what appeared as a vision while standing on third base during a baseball game.
“I suddenly saw the batter hit the ball and throw the bat, and it flew across the yard and (knocked) me off my feet damaging my spine.”
She then heard a voice say, "Your life will be changed forever." Quickly, she stepped to one said but was told to get back onto third base.
“Of course the next pitch, the batter hit the ball, threw the bat and it traveled across the yard and hit me in the abdomen throwing me off my feet and damaging my spine.”
Kari Ana said she remembers lying on the floor of her parent’s home crying that her legs hurt, but it was perceived as a child just wanting lots of attention or simply suffering from growing pains. The damage to her spine was not diagnosed until she was in her late 30’s and by that time, she needed back surgery.
After the baseball incident, Kari Ana pushed most of her abilities aside, but even so she was yet to experience another strange incident.
“When I was 17, I was in the U.K. at Warwick Castle. We were down inside the dungeon when I had an experience. I was standing in the garret of the dungeon. I became dizzy. I looked down and I was wearing an emerald green dress from around the 1500's. I looked out the window and the view was different. I shook my head and ran back down to the inner dungeon, a very small space and started to tell the other people I was with what happened. Suddenly I felt a cold hand brush my left cheek. I turn to see who was there and I felt the same cold hand brush my right cheek. I told the others that I was getting out of there and left. When they came out of the dungeon, they just stood and stared at me. They told me I was very pale. I told them what happened, which of course they made fun of.”
Despite their reaction, Kari Ana came to a new realization.
I began realizing about then that I needed to open myself and discover more about this sort of thing that happened to me because NO ONE else in my group had any sort of experience. And ever since she entered her “crone” years, she said her abilities have increased.
Even though she knows deep down that she is as normal as anyone else, there are times when she writes about her experiences that she feels “like a wacko. It is true. Still, I am well aware how it sounds. So far, the end result is that I can speak of the things that happen around me without the fear of being made fun of so it has become a pretty positive thing for me to come to terms with what happens to me.”
Kari Ana said she’s never had a paranormal team in to her home to investigate the ghostly appearances because she’s not sure whom to call. However, this writer has learned that the Pacific Paranormal Research Society http://www.nwpprs.com would be the group to contact in her area.
As for Kari Ana, she feels that “when the time is right” she will find out why the spirits are in her home. In the meantime, she continues to use her own sixth sense to communicate with them.
“This is such an incredible time in my life, I figure when the time is right everything will become known or it will not become known. Maybe this is supposed to be something that is not the regular haunting.” However, she added, “I have no problem if someone wants to come check this home out.”
And she is actually looking forward to what might happen in the future.
“I have been told that soon these abilities are going to help a lot of people. I have also been told my words will help people heal.”

Spirits Speak at Ontario Museum

A team of paranormal investigators paid a visit to the Billy Bishop Museum in Owen Sound, Ontario recently and picked up the voices of ghosts on a recorder. Jeff's Paranormal in Barrie caught three apparent EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) of unexplainable voices.

According to Museum Manager Mary Smith, one of the voices appeared to be a loud exclamation or shouting that no one noticed during the crew’s set - up process. Another recording was unrecognizable.

A psychic named Paula was also on hand and picked up on a visiting male spirit. Smith said a spirit voice could be heard whispering the psychic’s name.

The team was so pumped by the EVPs that it plans to return in September with more members to continue its investigation. There will also be an event held in December in which members of the public can take part.

UFO Crashes in Needles, California

Well known UFO investigator and enthusiast George Knapp has released details of a possible UFO crash near the town of Needles, California.
According to Knapp the crash, which occurred on May 14,2008 was seen by several eyewitnesses. They described a fiery object descending to the ground south of Las Vegas, Nevada. They also noted that helicopters arrived soon afterward, hooked up the object and flew off with it.
KTOX radio station owner David Hayes said he saw a group of vehicles with government plates leave a main thoroughfare and head into a remote area. He believes the parties involved went to investigate the crash site and clean up any debris. Interestingly, he said one of the men he saw in one of the vehicles was later parked in front of the KTOX station.

Astronaut Edgar Mitchell says UFOs are Real

Astronaut Edgar Dean Mitchell has come forward with startling new revelations about UFOs. Mitchell, who was the pilot of the lunar module of Apollo 24 and the sixth man to walk on the Moon spent nine hours on the lunar surface on February 9, 1971.
This former navy man, who has a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering, told Britain’s Kerrang radio show on July 23, 2008 that witnesses to the infamous Roswell Incident are telling the truth. A UFO with aliens aboard did crash that day in 1947 and the government is continuing to cover it up nearly 60 years later. In fact, Mitchell stated that visitors from other worlds have come to earth a number of other times as well. His insider knowledge was gained during his time working with NASA.
"I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we've been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real," he said.
This bombshell disclosure comes from a highly respected man is being taken seriously by the UFO community. While he noted that not all UFO reported sightings are real, many of them actually are.
Unfortunately, there are many people who attempt to gain notoriety through fake reports, disinformation, hoaxes and doctored photos. Coming from Mitchell, however lends great credibility to the idea of alien visits here. Even so, NASA has attempted to cover its virtual behind.
"NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover up about alien life on this planet or anywhere in the universe," a spokesman stated.
But Mitchell did not say that NASA tracks UFOs. He did not say that NASA was involved in a cover - up. What he did say is that his tenure with NASA allowed him to be in a position to obtain above top - secret information.
Since Mitchell’s announcement, his interview has been discussed on CNN, Fox, AP and almost every UFO site on the Internet.

NASA Veteran confirms Alien Presence
Says Alien was Aboard Space Shuttle

Although NASA remains tight - lipped about an actual alien presence, former NASA employee, Clark C. McClelland has confirmed Astronaut Edgar Dean Mitchell’s claims.
In a recent statement he said:
“I, Clark C. McClelland, former ScO, Space Shuttle Fleet, personally observed an 8 to 9 foot tall ET on my 27 - inch video monitors while on duty in the Kennedy Space Center, Launch Control Center (LCC). The ET was standing upright in the Space Shuttle Payload Bay having a discussion with two tethered U.S. NASA astronauts!
I also observed on my monitors, the spacecraft of the ET as it was in a stabilized, safe orbit to the rear of the Space Shuttle main engine pods. I observed this incident for about one minute and seven seconds. Plenty of time to memorize all that I was observing. It was an ET and alien Star Ship!
A friend of mine later contacted me and said that this person had also observed an 8 to 9 foot tall ET INSIDE the SPACE SHUTTLE CREW COMPARTMENT! Yes, inside OUR Shuttle! BOTH missions were DoD (Pentagon) TOP SECRET (TS) encounters!
With my verifiable background, there is no Federal Government agency that can say I am crazy!

Richard Chapman says that on Jul 20, 2008 between 2 and 3 p.m., he saw and recorded an unknown aerial object over the Genesee Country Museum in Mumford, N.Y.
“I was waiting for civil war re - enactors to pass through a meadow in the village,” he said. “Camera was pointed at the sky. When I got home to process the pictures, I noticed an object in two frames of the video I had taken. Ordinarily I would have discarded the video. The object in question is rod shaped and dark.
Analysis: In the first frame, object seems to be headed straight at an approximate angle of 2.66 degrees to the left. The second frame shows an angle to the right of 17.63 degrees. Object appears to be in a turn, and was more than 20 pixels to the right of its originally project course.
Morphological characteristics:
· Wings: None. Third and fourth inset photos are enhanced and show no evidence.
· Vapor Trail: None.
· Color: Black.
Summary: Object appears to be an unknown aerial phenomenon traversing the sky at extreme speed. The characteristics are inconsistent with any known flying object.
